Available engines for the Sierra 1500 include a 5.3L EcoTec3 V8, a 6.2L EcoTec3 V8, and a 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine. The 5.3L EcoTec produces 355 horsepower at 5600 rpm and 383 lb.-ft. of torque at 4100 rpm, while the 6.2L EcoTec3 yields 420 horsepower at 5600 rpm and 460 lb.-ft. of torque at 4100 rpm.
