Engine (Power)
Under the hood, the 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ is equipped with an 85 kWh battery pack that powers a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. This setup combines a front permanent magnet motor and a rear induction motor, delivering 300 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque.
Performance
The OPTIQ offers a thrilling ride with a 0-60 mph acceleration time of just 5.9 seconds, topping out at 112 mph. Its balanced weight distribution ensures stable handling, while four selectable driving modes—Tour, Sport, Snow/Ice, and My Mode—let you tailor the experience to your preferences. One-pedal driving with regenerative braking is also included to enhance efficiency and extend range.
With an EPA-estimated range of 300 miles, the OPTIQ is built for long drives. When it’s time to recharge, the 150 kW DC fast-charging system can provide up to 79 miles of range in just 10 minutes. If you use a standard 11.5 kW charger, you can expect up to 33 miles of range per hour of charging. For those with a 19.2 kW system, it’s capable of adding up to 55 miles per hour.
Interior
Inside the cabin, the OPTIQ boasts a 33-inch curved LED display with 9K resolution, making it the focal point of the interior. The 19-speaker AKG audio system with Dolby Atmos ensures superior sound quality throughout. The cabin offers 26 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second-row seats, which expands to 57 cubic feet with the seats folded down. With 37.8 inches of second-row legroom, every passenger can enjoy a comfortable ride. Sustainable materials are featured throughout, including recycled PET plastic woven fabric trim and Paper Wood Deco 1 laminate, which is composed of 50% tulipwood and 50% recycled newspaper.
Safety Features
Every Cadillac OPTIQ comes equipped with a full suite of advanced safety technologies. Using a combination of radar, camera, and ultrasonic sensors, the OPTIQ offers features such as front and rear park assist, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, forward collision alert, and blind-zone steering assist. Additional safety features include automatic emergency braking, rear pedestrian alert, and HD Surround Vision. As a bonus, you’ll receive a three-year subscription to Super Cruise, Cadillac’s hands-free driving technology.
